INSIDE THIS BOOK

A closer look.

Take a colorful imaginary journey through two icy worlds. Polar Animal Discoveries Coloring Book invites children ages 4-6 to meet snowy wanderers, waddling explorers and ocean travelers in a collection of 50 original animal scenes with room for big creative ideas.

The first half visits Arctic settings with polar bears, Arctic foxes, hares, snowy owls, walruses and more. The second half moves to Antarctic and nearby Southern Ocean scenes with penguins, seals, seabirds and whales. Northern and southern animals have separate picture settings. Children can enjoy each illustration on its own or imagine a journey through the whole collection.

Every design includes a short STORY SPARK and a simple coloring invitation. These scenes and captions are original fiction, made to encourage imagination and conversation with a grown-up. This is a creative animal coloring collection rather than a scientific workbook; no reading skill is needed to begin coloring.

Bold black outlines, broad shapes and generous open areas suit young artists using crayons or colored pencils. The large 8.5 x 11-inch paperback contains 104 interior pages, including introductory pages and blank backs behind all 50 designs. Blank Name lines let the new owner make each picture their own.

Choose familiar icy shades or invent an unexpected rainbow. Keep the book for quiet afternoons, travel activities or a gift for a child who enjoys animal adventures. Place a spare protective sheet behind the current page when using markers.
