INSIDE THIS BOOK

A closer look.

Meet a garden full of gentle monsters with big ideas and kind hearts. In Gentle Monster Friends & Fun Coloring Book, little artists can add their favorite colors to playful moments of sharing, helping and make-believe. Every scene introduces something new to notice, from an enormous bubble wand to a soft patchwork tent.

Created for children ages 4–6, this collection includes 50 original coloring designs with bold black outlines, broad shapes and generous open spaces. Friendly expressions and simple, readable scenes make it easy to choose a picture and begin. Monsters build a cushion tower, match socks, shelter a seedling, roll a ball and settle down with a moon-shaped pillow.

A short STORY SPARK accompanies every design. These original fictional captions invite children and grown-ups to imagine what might happen next. They can become a gentle starting point for conversation, a made-up adventure or a child’s own explanation of the picture. No reading skill is needed to enjoy coloring the illustrations.

The large 8.5 × 11 inch paperback contains 104 interior pages, including 50 coloring pictures printed with blank backs. A blank Name line lets each young artist make the book their own. Crayons and colored pencils suit the roomy spaces; when using markers, place a spare sheet behind the page because paper is not guaranteed to prevent bleed-through.

Keep it nearby for a quiet afternoon, a travel bag, a rainy-day activity or a thoughtful gift for a child who enjoys friendly imaginary creatures. There are no scary monsters to overcome—just little discoveries, welcoming faces and plenty of room for colorful ideas.
