Visit a bee hotel, discover a dragonfly nymph in a pond, and find a froghopper hiding in its bubbly shelter. Familiar favorites sit alongside less familiar creatures, giving each coloring session something fresh to notice.

Every illustrated page pairs its picture with a short coloring invitation and one fact for a grown-up to read aloud. The 104 total pages include 50 picture pages, a blank reverse behind each design, and four introductory pages. Roomy 8.5 x 11-inch pages include a blank Name line for their young artist.

Choose natural colors or invent your own bright combinations. Start with a favorite creature, compare two different wings, or talk about where an animal might live. There is no required order.
